Kicks, permanent bans and timed bans that lift themselves, with full ban history.

Kick, ban, tempban

• /kick — removes them; they can rejoin with a new invite. For "leave and cool off", not for repeat offenders.
• /ban — permanent until you unban. Can delete their recent messages in the same action, which is what you want for a spam or scam account.
• /tempban — a ban that lifts itself. The honest middle ground: long enough to matter, and you don't have to remember to undo it.

/banview shows a member's ban history, or browses every stored ban record — worth checking before an unban appeal.

Worth knowing

• Tempbans survive restarts — the unban is scheduled, not held in memory.
• A banned member can't be messaged, so put the appeal route in your server description or rules where they can still see it.
• Point the Admin mod-log module at a staff channel so bans and kicks are recorded with who issued them.
