Server Economy
Coins, a bank, jobs, crime, gambling, a shop, and Guess-the-Anime.
What it does
A full server currency: members earn coins by chatting and working, gamble them, rob each other, and spend them in a shop you stock with roles and XP boosters. You name the currency and pick its emoji, so it reads as part of your server rather than a generic bot feature.
Money lives in two places — a wallet and a bank. Only the wallet can be robbed, which gives /bank an actual purpose and makes carrying a large balance a real decision.
Guess-the-Anime
A channel game that pays your currency. Cyndrix posts a hidden-title synopsis from MyAnimeList; the first member to type the show name wins the coins you set. After 30 seconds with no winner it drops a hint (genre + year).
Dashboard → Economy → Guess anime: pick the channel, coins per win, minutes between rounds, and whether to use popular titles or a wider pool. The right-hand scoreboard shows who has guessed the most (top 10, with Load more).
Earning and losing
/daily— a once-a-day claim, the reliable floor under everyone's income./work— the main earner, on a cooldown./crime— pays more than work but can fail and fine you./rob— takes from another member's wallet. The spiciest setting you have; it's a separate toggle for a reason./gamble— coinflip, dice, slots and blackjack, with a tuned house edge so the economy doesn't inflate./heist— rally a crew, hit the vault, split the pot. Fail and everyone pays./lottery— weekly ticket pot. One winner, house keeps a slice./mood— double payday, crime sprees and market crashes that hit the whole server.- Chat income — a small passive trickle for being active, toggleable on its own.
Every payout runs through a global income multiplier. If coins feel too easy or too scarce, move that one number before touching individual rates.
Setup
- Dashboard → Economy → enable, then set your currency name and emoji.
- Decide on the three switches: chat income, gambling, robbing. Robbing creates drama — turn it on deliberately, not by accident.
- Stock the shop. Roles and XP boosters ship as sensible defaults; price them so the daily claim alone won't buy the best item in a week.
- Use
/economyto adjust a balance by hand when something needs correcting.
