What it does

Announce it in Discord the moment a creator uploads or goes live — YouTube, Twitch and Kick. Also Steam updates, news headlines, Reddit, GitHub and any RSS feed.

Anime is one option: search a show on MyAnimeList, pick the season, pick a channel. When a new episode airs, Cyndrix posts a MAL embed (poster, episode number, score). Members can look a title up with /anime or /manga; admins press Follow in feed to subscribe that show. Anyone else is asked (privately, in the channel) to tag an admin or mod.

/feed list shows what's configured; /feed test fires a test post so you can check the channel and the ping role before the real thing.

Setup

  1. Dashboard → Feeds: add the channel or creator, and pick where alerts post.
  2. For anime: pick Anime, type the show name, choose the result, then the Discord channel.
  3. Set a ping role — and make it opt-in via Reaction Roles. A go-live ping that everyone receives is the fastest way to make people mute the server.
  4. Run /feed test to confirm it lands correctly.

Feeds are polled on an interval, so an alert can lag a live start by a few minutes. That's a deliberate trade — polling faster would burn API quota for very little gain.
