You edit the message itself
Most bots give you a form: a box for the title, a box for the description, a box for the colour, and a preview somewhere off to the side that you check afterwards. Cyndrix does not. You click the part you want and type into it — the title, the description, a field, the footer — inside something shaped like the message that will be posted.
Beside it sits a live preview that renders exactly what Discord will render: bold, headings, spoilers, quotes, timestamps, mentions, custom emoji. What you are looking at is what lands in the channel.
Two modes, one editor
- Message — a plain post. Text, an image, buttons. The simplest thing in the world, and the one most announcements actually want.
- Embed — the bordered card: title, description, colour, author, thumbnail, image, footer and up to 25 fields.
Switch between them at any point and your work follows you across — text stays text, the picture stays attached.
Formatting without memorising anything
A toolbar sits above the message box. Select some words, press a button, and the markers are wrapped around them for you — bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, code, spoiler, hyperlink, quote and subtext. Every button shows the raw syntax in its tooltip, so you pick it up as you go rather than reading a manual first.
It works in the embed body too, and everything Discord supports is available if you would rather type it: headings, lists, block quotes, fenced code with a language, timestamps that render in each reader's own timezone, links with the preview card suppressed.
Tagging people
Type @ for roles and members, # for channels. The picker fills in the real mention, so nothing has to be looked up or pasted.
One rule is worth knowing, and the builder states it on screen: only the message line pings. A mention inside an embed displays perfectly — coloured, clickable — but Discord raises no notification from an embed body. That is a platform limit, not a Cyndrix one. So tag inside the embed to label someone, and on the message line to reach them.
Buttons, pictures and silence
- Buttons — up to five, each linking to a URL or jumping to a channel, with an optional emoji.
- Images — drag one in. On an embed it becomes the embed image; on a plain message it is attached underneath.
- Send silently — the message posts normally and nobody is notified. Useful for a correction, or for posting into a busy announcement channel at 3am.
Send now, or later
- Publish straight to any channel you choose.
- Schedule it for a moment in your server's timezone, and optionally repeat it.
- Save as a draft and reuse it — the library keeps your rules posts, your event templates, whatever you send often.
- History keeps what you have already published, so you can repost or edit it later instead of rebuilding it.
Setup
- Open the dashboard → Embeds.
- Pick Message or Embed and start typing into the preview.
- Choose a channel, then Publish — or turn on Schedule for later.
